Entrust Resource Solutions (ERS), the leading search and selection partner within Life Sciences and Healthcare has underlined its continued growth and development strategy with the appointment of a Group Operations Director.

Industry stalwart, Ian Broadway, joins the company as it moves to consolidates it core brands of ERS and Horton International UK, which together provide clients with what they term a “bench to board” talent resourcing service.

Ian, whose in-house track record includes pharmaceutical giants Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Novartis also brings close to 20 years’ experience within a number of international Life Sciences talent consultancies.

ERS Chief Commercial Officer, Austin Clark, explains why Ian’s credentials will be key to the company’s development: “Together, Entrust Resource Solutions and Horton International UK have created an outstanding track record in meeting global talent shortages and demands at all levels. Our combined, agile response to the requirements wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic alone has illustrated precisely why we’re leaders in this field.

“As the Life Sciences industry continues to evolve and address new challenges, Ian brings the precise combination of operational, commercial and in-house talent acquisition experience and insight required to continue strengthening our credentials as a Group.”

ERS, which acquired Horton International UK in 2019, has returned record results during the past two years, responding to a vastly changed landscape which has seen a significant increase in demand for Life Sciences and associated healthcare contractors and executives.

Ian adds: “This is an exciting time to join a talent acquisition company with such a unique offering. Life Sciences is a buoyant sector, but one which requires a creative approach to ensure its sustainability. ERS’ willingness to shift perspective – for example, as co-founders of an Academy which aims to build the next generation of sector professionals  – is just one way in which we are committed to supporting and developing the sector’s UK and European infrastructure.

“We are poised for further growth, continuing to build close partnerships with our industry clients and supporting our candidates throughout their careers in this field: I look forward to playing an instrumental role in the Group’s development.”
